ORLANDO – As Congress prepares to kick-off the August district work period, U.S. Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy of Winter Park, Fla., announced she will host a series of town hall meetings with constituents in central Florida. The effort is part of a broader outreach operation by Murphy’s office that includes office hours, listening sessions, coffees, roundtables, advisory boards, and constituent surveys. Murphy will host town hall meetings in both Orange and Seminole counties.
“To represent people, you’ve got to listen to them. That’s why since taking office I’ve held more than 300 public events with constituents,” said Murphy. “I invite seniors, veterans, and families in Orange and Seminole counties to come to these town hall meetings to share what’s on your minds so that I can take your concerns back to our nation’s capital. I look forward to hearing directly from the people I am proud to represent and fight for every day.”
