Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy of Winter Park, Fla., issued the following statement in response to reports that President Trump personally asked then-FBI Director James Comey to end the Bureau’s investigation into former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, and that Director Comey memorialized this request in a memo:

"This is a very serious allegation. Congress must obtain all relevant information about this conversation, and James Comey must testify in an open forum. Congress must also subpoena White House senior officials and all of Comey’s memos related to his conversations with the President. We need a comprehensive, bipartisan investigation that can follow the facts and uncover the truth.”
