WASHINGTON—Today, U.S. Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy of Winter Park, Fla., announced she is hosting a series of listening sessions across Florida’s Seventh Congressional District to offer her constituents an opportunity to share their thoughts on issues important to them. The effort is part of a broader outreach operation by Murphy’s office that includes office hours, coffee conversation events, social media outreach, and constituent surveys. These events help Murphy be better informed about her community’s concerns so she can take that feedback to Washington. Murphy holds these sessions at the beginning of every Congress, which help her set her long-term legislative agenda.

“The most fundamental responsibility of a Member of Congress is to listen to the people they represent. That’s why I hold these listening sessions at the beginning of every new Congress, as well as numerous public events throughout the year, including coffees, town halls, roundtables, and community advisory boards,” said Murphy.“These events provide me with an opportunity to hear directly from my constituents, learn about their concerns and priorities, and take that feedback with me to our nation’s capital.”

The events below are open to all residents of Florida's Seventh Congressional District.
