Murphy Applauds Passage of Interior-Environment Appropriations
Washington, D.C. — Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D. issued the following statement in response to the passage of Interior and Environment Appropriations for Fiscal Year 2024:
"Under the Biden Administration, strict regulations have adversely impacted small businesses, farmers, energy producers, and critical mineral production," said Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D. "This appropriations package funds our agencies responsible for protecting our environment, managing public land, national parks, and wildlife refuges, and overseeing critical natural resources. I proudly supported it to ensure enhanced access to essential minerals, eliminate excessive barriers for energy producers, emphasize public safety, protect our environment and ecosystems, and enact reductions to curb excessive spending."
