Murphy Calls Deployed Marines & Sailors on Thanksgiving

Greenville, NC — Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., called members of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit deployed in the Caribbean to wish them a Happy Thanksgiving.

"While America observes Thanksgiving with our families and friends, our service members across the world remain at the ready to defend and protect our country," said Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D. "It is always an honor to call Marines and Sailors deployed from Camp Lejeune to wish them a Happy Thanksgiving and express gratitude to them for the sacrifices they make to keep us safe. It is a privilege to gather with loved ones to celebrate the blessings we are afforded as Americans. We must never forget those in the line of duty, and their families, who cannot do the same today."
