Murphy Congratulates Harry Brown on His Stellar Tenure in the North Carolina State Assembly
Greenville, N.C. – Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) issued the following statement after Harry Brown, the North Carolina State Senate Majority Leader, announced his retirement.
"Harry Brown has been a devoted servant to the people of Onslow County and the State of North Carolina for nearly 16 years. He has been a model public servant contributing his time, talent and resources to the betterment of our state. I am lucky to call him a friend. His retirement will be a great loss of leadership and though the State Assembly will certainly miss his expertise and leadership, he has certainly earned the opportunity to spend more time with his family. I wish him the best in his retirement and future endeavors, and know that wherever he goes, success will follow," said Murphy.
