Murphy Statement on Senate Budget Resolution

Washington, D.C. — Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., issued the following statement in response to the House of Representatives Concurring on the Senate Amendment to H.Con.Res. 14, legislation to begin the budget reconciliation process.

"House Republicans are unified in moving forward a budget reconciliation package that codifies President Trump‘s agenda while addressing runaway spending," said Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D. "The Senate’s framework does not do enough to rein in our structural deficits and snowballing debt. However, by concurring with the Senate on budget reconciliation instructions, we can begin the process of turning our vision into reality.
