"Eastern North Carolina has one of the most intricate and beautiful ecosystems in the entire world. It was an honor to get a firsthand look at the largest natural lake in the state of North Carolina at Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge," said Murphy.

"I would like to give a special thanks to Rebekah Martin and Wendy Stanton for the educational tour they gave me. I continue to be amazed at the hardworking and devoted people we have in eastern North Carolina who care so much about taking care of our natural resources. As I have said so many times, I am honored to serve the best congressional district in our country."
