Murphy Votes in Support of Israel Security Supplemental

Washington, D.C. —Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D. issued the following statement after voting in support of H.R. 7217, the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act:

"In the face of terror and unprovoked aggression, Israel is in a righteous fight for its existence and the United States must stand behind it,"said Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D. "The nation is our greatest ally in the Middle East and critically needs the support of the West to defend itself against Iranian-backed, extremist militant groups who wish to eradicate it. It is obvious Senator Schumer and Senate Democrats wish to use this emergency as a political football despite its critical nature and I will not allow it."
