Washington, D.C. — Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., applauds the passage of H.R. 7008, the Stop Insider Trading Act, to prohibit Members of Congress, spouses, and dependent children from purchasing publicly traded stocks, as well as H.R. 9368, the Voter ID Act, which was included, to require voters to show a photo ID when they cast a ballot for an election for federal office.
