"Today, the FDA granted full approval to Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine. This marks a tremendous achievement in the fight against COVID-19, one that I hope will lift public confidence in the vaccine.

Washington, D.C. – On Wednesday, August 11th, the United States Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the State of North Carolina announced that Craven County will be receiving a $691,610 grant to improve disaster resilience. This grant will be used to fund elevation of four residential structures in Havenlock and New Bern, NC.
