Washington, D.C. – Rep. Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) released a statement following today’s vote to pass the Strategic Production Response Act, which passed the House 221-205.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) was recommended by the House Republican Steering Committee to serve on the House Veterans' Affairs Committee. After previously serving on this committee in the 117^th Congress, he specifically sought out a waiver to get reappointed in the 118^th Congress. Upon the news, Rep. Murphy released the following statement:   

Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) introduced legislation to protect military families’ constitutional rights. The Protect Our Military Families’ 2nd Amendment Rights Act (H.R. 341) guarantees Second Amendment rights to the spouse of a service member. This is the first piece of legislation introduced by Rep. Murphy in the 118^th Congress.
