Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Greg Murphy (NC-03) issued the following statement in response to the ongoing situation in Afghanistan:
"The situation in Afghanistan is deeply emotional for the thousands of veterans who have put their lives on the line to serve our country in Afghanistan over the last 20 years," said Murphy. "Tragically, our nation has lost thousands of American heroes who have given their lives in defense of our freedoms.
Washington, D.C. – On Wednesday, August 11th, the United States Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the State of North Carolina announced that Craven County will be receiving a $691,610 grant to improve disaster resilience. This grant will be used to fund elevation of four residential structures in Havenlock and New Bern, NC.

Washington, D.C. – On Monday, August 9th, the State of North Carolina and the United States Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced that Duplin County will receive a grant in the amount of $1,300,000.00. This grant is part of FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Project and will fund the purchase of several emergency generators for the Duplin County.

The subcommittee, chaired by Rep. Larry Bucshon, M.D. (IN-08) will focus on creating patient-oriented solutions to personalize health care options and maximize consumer choice for American families.
Washington, D.C. – Today, Reps. Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03), Scott Peters (CA-52), Bobby L. Rush (IL-01), and Neal Dunn (FL-02) introduced the Facilitating Innovative Nuclear Diagnostics (FIND) Act to expand patient access to advanced nuclear diagnostic imaging technology. Medicare's reimbursement plan limits patient access to new and innovative imaging tools that can be used to improve diagnosis of life-threatening diseases.
Kenansville, N.C. – The staff of Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) will be hosting a Constituent Services Outreach Day for Duplin County residents on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 10:00am-3:00pm. The event will take place at the Duplin Board of County Commissioners meeting room in the Administrative Office Building at 224 Seminary Street, Kenansville, NC. Representatives from Murphy's district staff will be there to answer questions and help constituents with casework issues.
