Washington, D.C. – This morning, Rep. Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) visited the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. in honor of National Vietnam War Veterans Day. After visiting the memorial to pay his respects, Rep. Murphy filmed the following tribute video in memory of all the North Carolinians who fought and died during the Vietnam War. Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) hosted a Third District Service Academy Day at Craven Community College for all 7th-12th grade students interested in applying for congressional nomination to a U.S. Service Academy. The well-attended event provided an opportunity students, parents, and educators to gain the knowledge and expertise needed to submit a quality application to one of U.S. Service Academies.

The event will take place at Craven Community College, 800 College Court New Bern, N.C. 28562 from 10:00am-12:30pm. All interested parents, educators, and prospective students are invited to attend!
