Jacksonville N.C. – Today, Rep. Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) announced that he is now accepting applications for a Wounded Warrior Fellowship Program position in his Jacksonville office. Established in 2008, the Wounded Warrior Fellowship Program provides wounded and/or disabled veterans with two-year paid fellowship employment opportunities within congressional offices.

Washington, D.C. – Rep. Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) released the following statement after voting no on H.R. 3807 – the Relief for Restaurants and other Hard Hit Small Businesses Act of 2022 in favor of a more cost-effective alternative, the ENTRÉE Act.

Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) introduced a House Resolution expressing the sense that any Member of Congress who makes a public statement advocating for ‘defunding the police' should not be permitted to use taxpayer dollars to contract private security. The resolution condemns any calls made by a member to ‘defund the police.'

Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) sent a letter to USMC Major General James F. Glynn urging him to drop manslaughter charges against two USMC special forces operators who were forced to defend themselves from a drunken aggressor while on deployment in December 2019.

Washington, D.C. – This morning, Rep. Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) visited the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. in honor of National Vietnam War Veterans Day. After visiting the memorial to pay his respects, Rep. Murphy filmed the following tribute video in memory of all the North Carolinians who fought and died during the Vietnam War. New Bern, N.C.– This morning, Rep. Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) hosted a Third District Service Academy Day at Craven Community College for all 7^th-12^th grade students interested in applying for congressional nomination to a U.S. Service Academy. The well-attended event provided an opportunity students, parents, and educators to gain the knowledge and expertise needed to submit a quality application to one of U.S. Service Academies.

Washington, D.C. – This morning, Rep. Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) participated in a Ways and Means Oversight Subcommittee hearing with IRS Commissioner Chuck Rettig regarding the 2022 Tax Filing Season. In his remarks, Rep.
