Washington, D.C. – On Wednesday, August 5, 2020, the Department of Housing and Urban Development announced grants through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. This CARES Act HVC Program provides funding to prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19, including Mainstream Vouchers, which are specifically for non-elderly people with disabilities.

Edenton, North Carolina will receive $4,006,000 in loans and $1,988,000 in grants as a result of this initiative.
